Five Core Corporate Expressions to Equip God's People
Over the last decade we have been experiencing a shift from maintaining programs to equipping, empowering and resourcing ministers. Ephesians 4:11-13 describes five ways Jesus has gifted the church to equip God's people for supernatural service, building them up and bringing them to unity in the faith and in the knowledge of Jesus. We believe this is God’s strategy to release His Kingdom and will ‘on earth as it is in heaven’. It is His way of transforming the colony (earth) with the culture of the mother country (heaven). We aim to be such an expression in the city of Logan and to the ends of the earth.
In response we have chosen to highlight five core corporate expressions of these gifts through which we intend to equip, empower and resource God's people to personally express these graces in their lives. These meetings are not an end in themselves but are to provide a safe place for people to take risks in real life experiences that equip, empower and resource God's people to go and use what they have received wherever the Father sends them. The training is not theoretical or hypothetical i.e. when you come to our evangelistic expression you will really take good news to people but you will do it with others who can help you grow in that gift so you can do it outside the meeting anywhere any time.
So the aim of each meeting is for you to be sent out ready to do the work of the ministry - declare that the Kingdom of God is within reach, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, and drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Our five core corporate expressions to equip God's people are:
Apostolic
Celebration Service
Sunday Morning 9AM (Leader: Paul Jackson)
Apostolic Aim: to be gathered to Jesus and to be sent out by Him with authority to represent Him and His Kingdom bringing cultural transformation to our sphere of influence - Mark 3:13-15.
Our Sunday morning services are a time for God's family to gather together and celebrate the goodness of our Father and to be intentionally sent out by Him full of the Spirit to re-present Him and His Kingdom in the sphere of influence He has given us. The point of this re-presentation is not just to put God on display but to bring real life transformation to our city till it looks on earth like it is in heaven.
We believe we owe the world an encounter with God and that we truly come alive when we live from His presence on a daily basis.
Personal growth expectations: Through active participation in the apostolic stream you will grow in intimacy with God and dependence on His life, love and power. You will become more aware of heaven’s government, agenda and resources, and your personal assignment from heaven for earth. You will expand in your love for the Body of Christ in our community, city, nation and globe. You will increase in your awareness of the Holy Spirit in you and the flow of His life through you to others.
Prophetic
Encounter God Nights
Sunday Night 6PM (Leader: Matt & Shera Dahlitz)
Prophetic Aim: to hear the heart of God and express it on the earth to edify, encourage and comfort the recipients - 1Corinthians 14:3.
Encounter God nights are typically unpredictable in their format as we seek to give the Spirit freedom to move and speak amongst us. Nights are marked by intimate times with the Lord through various prophetic expressions such as worship, prayer, Scripture, declarations, dance, art, prophecy, personal ministry and intercession.
Personal growth expectations: Through active participation in the prophetic stream you will grow in intimacy with God and dependence on His life, love and power. You will become more aware of God’s voice and the plans and directions of His heart. You will recognize the flow of His heart and the nature of His ways as you walk with Him. You will learn how to communicate His heart to people in ways that encourage, comfort and build up the whole Body of Christ.
See the Encounter God page for more info.
Evangelistic
Treasure Hunting
Thursday Night 6PM (Leader: Dean Orourke)
Evangelistic Aim: to declare and demonstrate God's goodness to all creation in the name of Jesus - Mark 16:15-18.
Treasure Hunting, or Prophetic Evangelism, is a fun way to partner with the Holy Spirit in surprising people with God's kindness so their hearts turn to Him who loves them and gave Himself for them. Groups of 3-5 enthusiastic treaure hunters leave from the Kingdom Life Centre at arranged times. Having received 'clues' from the Holy Spirit (words of knowledge, prophetic insight), they spread out across Logan City to partner with the commission of Jesus to declare the nearness of the Kingdom of God and demonstrate it's nearness with miracles, signs and wonders.
Personal growth expectations: Through active participation in the evangelistic stream you will grow in intimacy with God and dependence on His life, love and power. You will become more aware of the goodness and compassion of God toward His creation and the power of His crosswork to restore all things. You will expand in your awareness of the Father’s willingness to use you and the Holy Spirit’s power to flow through you for salvation, deliverance and healing. You will increase in boldness, authority and power as you embrace and are embraced by the Father’s love and goodness.
See the Treasure Hunting page for more info.
Pastoral
Small Groups
Midweek (Leader: Dennis Jackson)
Pastoral Aim: to provide a place where people can grow together in real relationships that offer safety, provision, encouragement and adventure. See 'One Another' passages on the Small Groups page.
Small Groups are a great way to do life with other people who are tracking in the same direction as you. It's a place where your willingness to be vulnerable and trust others will be nurtured and tested but also a place where you will give life and encouragement to others.
Personal growth expectations: Through active participation in the pastoral stream you will grow in intimacy with God and dependence on His life, love and power. You will become more aware of the vital dimensions of family in the Kingdom of God. You will expand in your capacity to build healthy grace filled relationships based on principles of Kingdom community. Your internal government will increase in love, power and self control as you are drawn into the atmosphere of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Beside the five core corporate meatings which are open to everyone, we also have a number of ministries targeted at specific groups of people including youth, children, men, women, craft, etc. Go to our Ministry page for more info on these groups.
We also have a passion to see the good news we have received taken outside of our city boundaries to other nations, cities, towns, villages and homes throughout the world. Go to our Missions page for more info on where we're going and how you can be involved.
